Here are a few more of the family: After a few relaxing days at my Grandparents cottage my mother and I were off to Sarnia to visit with my Aunt Ann and her family. There I spent a couple days playing with the cousins and got out golfing again with Mike and Griffin. We also went and saw Talladega nights which was hilarious. Shake and bake. After Sarnia my mom and I were off to Gananaque where she recently purchased a cottage in the thousand island’s area. It is a beautiful spot and I got a good idea why so many chose the cottage life. I am already salivating at the thought of visiting and vacationing there in the future. The previous owners were kind enough to take us for a boat tour around the islands (not all of them) There are some amazing houses in the area. The Georgia Bight Shorebird Conservation Initiative aims to protect birds in the southeastern U.S. – stewards on public beaches educate visitors on bird-friendly practices, and hotels are helping too. In Georgia, naturalists for Sea Island Resort’s The Lodge and The Cloister offer birding tours and educational opportunities to guests. The Narrows, Zion National Park, Utah, USA. The park is famous for the iconic red canyons, rivers, lakes and waterfalls. Meanwhile the Narrows provides one of the most premier hiking trails in the area. The site was even ranked no. 5 in the list of America’s Best 100 Adventures by National Geographic! Basically the Narrows is a narrow gorge with steep red walls. It stretches for 26 km (16 mi) and at times is 6 m (20 ft) wide, while the cliffs reach 610 m (2000 ft) high. The Virgin River runs between these vertical cliffs, but it is shallow so hikers can simply wade through it. One can hike various distances, while completing the route can take a full day.
